That isn’t entirely fair, certainly not today. The online poker industry collapsed amid reports of fraudulent behavior, compounding the negative view many have of the game. It’s something to be wary of, and real-life events in 2011 did little to help that. You only have to think back to the opening scene of Ocean’s XI, when Brad Pitt and George Clooney clean out a group of students, to see how some see the game. Often, films do little to alleviate this stereotype.
